First and foremost, I want to thank you for your support and take a moment to tell you a little about myself and the topics facing our community that matter to me.

My campaign platform is simple. It is my desire to serve the community and give back as your Sheriff. My reason for seeking election is to help make Clay County a better, safer, place for all of us to live and to raise families. I believe with my leadership and vision; the men and women of the Sheriff’s Office will accomplish goals that exceed the standards of providing a safe community.

 

The Sheriff’s badge is a symbol of public trust and to serve is an honor and a privilege. The Sheriff must be an effective law enforcement leader who possesses the desire and ability to recognize deficiencies, make difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions, and to effect positive change. This thoughtful type of leadership will consistently enhance professionalism and service to the public. There is no other place that I would rather use my experience, education, and training to serve others and make a positive difference.
